Kids and adults can spend the day cooling off and having fun at Splash Cove in Decatur, IL. There’s something for every age and ability to enjoy. This summer, get outside and spend the day at one of Decatur locals’ favorite destinations.
Water Features for Everyone
Perhaps your ideal afternoon is to relax and float in the serene and calming lazy river. There, you can forget your worries for a little bit as you go with the gentle river flow. Some people love to spend most of their time there. However, if you’re a bit more active, you’ll love trying out one or all of the four giant slides. Zoom down the twists and turns of each super-fast slide. Then, check out the zip line over an eight-lane lap pool. If you still have plenty of energy, try your skills on the rock wall.
Diving Boards If You’re Brave
If adventure is your happy place, try the three-meter or six-meter diving boards. Whether you’re working on your massive cannonball or you’re practicing diving technique, you’ll love the excitement of the diving boards.
And Gentle Pools for Relaxing Swims
If you’ve tired yourself out on the diving boards, head over to the zero-depth entry pool for a leisurely swim. And if you have small ones, you can help them play safely in the zero-depth entry baby pool. Of course, you’ll want to watch the smallest ones as they play, but families love that everyone can enjoy Splash Cove.
Stay Safe at Splash Cove
There must be an adult attending Splash Cove with any minors under the age of 15. Anyone over 16 should have a valid ID with them. In addition, it’s important to wear swimwear when swimming in the pools, lazy river, and water slides. Also, if you need to use a floatation device, it should be Coast Guard approved. Finally, people who want to slide should be at least 48 inches tall to ensure they can ride safely. Additionally, the diving boards are open to children and adults over the age of 5 who are capable swimmers.
