Pick Your Pumpkin At The Great Pumpkin Patch!

Great Pumpkin Patch

Fall has finally arrived, which means that you’ll be looking for ways to get into the autumnal spirit. One of the best ways to do just that is by picking out a pumpkin at the Great Pumpkin Patch. This pumpkin patch is located just south of Arthur, Illinois, and in addition to being an amazing place to pick out your pumpkin, it’s also filled with fun fall activities that you’ll love participating in. Head there with your family or a big group of friends, and you’ll be sure to fall into the spirit of the season in no time! Check out what you need to know.

Admission & When to Go

The Great Pumpkin Patch opened earlier this month, and you can continue to visit until Oct. 31, so make sure you head there sometime soon. It’s open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays, so you have plenty of opportunities to check it out. If you go on a weekday, adults will pay $6 for a ticket and children ages four to 12 and seniors over 60 pay only $4. Planning on going on the weekend? In that case, adults pay $9 and children and seniors pay $6. If you think you are going to go several times during the season, you may want to look into a season pass which costs $20 for adults and $12 for kids and seniors. Are you bringing any little ones along with you? You’re in luck: Children ages 5 and under always get in for free.

U-Pick Patch

Though you can always choose a variety of pre-picked pumpkins that make things easier for you, some people prefer to pick their own pumpkins. Go out into the patch and pick the one that will look best in your home. Whether you’re looking for one to make the perfect jack-o-lantern or just one that looks pretty, you’re sure to find what you’re searching for.

Mazes

One of the main attractions here is the corn maze, which is available on Columbus Day and weekends. However, there are a variety of other mazes that are open all the time. These are fun for kids and adults alike, so make sure you don’t miss them!
