You won’t be sorry going to everybody’s favorite in Decatur! Coney McKane’s has been serving their legendary creations with a Southern flair since 2006.
Flo is not only an inspiration to many of us at 85 years old but the reckoning in this kitchen. She just celebrated her 20th anniversary of the restaurant also. Originally called “The Bakery Coffee House,” this full-time restaurant seats 100 people now with more than 20 family members participating in the operation. They have grown from a small walk-in shop with three family members serving some awesome comfort food for all ages.
Delicious Breakfast And Lunch
If you want to feel at home and want great breakfast or lunch with a menu ranging from $3.00-15.00, then this is YOUR place. Try the best biscuits and breakfast along with amazing burgers, salads and “to die for” made-from-scratch baked potato soup. Finish it off with some of Flo’s homemade pie and you won’t be disappointed! They treat you like family. You will not eat alone and you might even experience some really bad singing and dancing with Flo’s family. You can carry out or dine in with the family.
Decatur is a classic mid-western U.S. city with many historical buildings downtown along Lake Decatur. It’s most notable resident was Abraham Lincoln and currently is a cool college town. You also have the Sangamen River and Lake Decatur to explore while in Central Illinois nearby also. Long Creek is six miles down the road and then Springfield is the next closest city 40 miles away…just so you know where you are!
